• What's the idea?
There are 11050 square inches of panel space on my car. The idea is to sell ad space on every square inch until it is completely covered.


• Are you serious?
Absolutely! Nowadays with companies turning to guerrilla marketing techniques, I believe CoverMyCar is a fun, alternative form of advertising that will stand out from typical television, radio and print ads.


• Why are you doing this?
To make money! Swamped with student loans after graduating college, I was still happy to land a job that paid a little more than minimum wage, however the debt man's still calling my name. After the debt has been settled, the rest of the money will go toward a film project that I'm working on.


• What is a 1994 Chevrolet Blahoe?
The registration calls it a "Blazer" but the car emblem says it's a "Tahoe." So it's a toss-up between "Blahoe" or "Tazer." I've driven it for eight years -- It was my first car that I got when I was sixteen and I'm proud to say that it's still in excellent running condition.


• Who can buy space?
Anyone! Advertise your company. Spread the word about your website or blog. Don't have anything to promote? Put a picture of yourself on my car -- you can get creative! If you don't have a sticker, send me an image, text or logo and I can make a sticker for you!


• What happens when I buy space?
When you buy advertising space, your sticker will be placed on my car and a link to your website will be featured on CoverMyCar.org as well as the MySpace, Twitter and Facebook pages. It will also be actively promoted online through the blog, pictures on Flickr and videos posted on YouTube, Vimeo, Revver and Metacafe.


• Who will see my sticker?
I travel everyday throughout Greenville, SC which has a population of 440,000. I frequently visit Columbia and Charleston, SC as well as major areas of Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. When all of the space has been sold I am making a cross-country trip to the west coast and documenting it through the website and viral videos.


• How long will my sticker be on your car?
Each sticker is guaranteed for 15,000 miles and one year. (ie. A sticker will not be considered retired until it has been on the car for at least 15,000 miles and at least one year.) If a sticker becomes weathered or damaged, I will take responsibility in replacing it. I wash my car once a week to make sure your sticker stays clean.


• How long will my sticker be online?
For as long as it's on my car.


• What will happen once all the stickers have been retired?
The car will be given to charity.


• How much does it cost to advertise on your car?
$10 per square inch with a minimum of 10 square inches. After you pick from available areas where you would like your sticker placed, you can send your sticker to me, or I can have one made for $22 per square foot. No offensive or inappropriate images or text are allowed.


• What kind of payments do you accept?
I use PayPal which accepts bank transfers and all major credit cards. I also accept cashier's checks and food stamps.


• What happens if you get into a wreck?
This is an inevitable concern. While I am a very careful driver, it is impossible to 100% guarantee against collision. In the event that something does happen to the car, I will do everything within my power to continue to fulfill the minimum of 15,000 miles and one year, and to replace any weathered or damaged stickers.

From an insurance standpoint, advertisers are in no way liable. If advertisers buy space on my car and money is transferred, according to the law it is the same as having a bumper sticker on the car. However, I understand that if your sticker is on my car, that makes me a representative of your business and I will strive to protect the reputation that you have worked hard to build.
